DappRadar Report: Ethereum is still in the lead in terms of developer activity

The latest yearly report of DappRadar says that Ethereum is still in the lead in terms of developer activity leaving behind its competitors.

DappRadar is a web service that tracks down the decentralized applications known as dapps. It has recently published its latest yearly report in which it has praised Ethereum regarding its dapp ecosystem.

The DappRadar report claims that Ethereum is still the leader of dapps and is regarded as the most significant in terms of the number of active dapps. As the DappRadar report reads:

The focus of this report sits squarely on the Ethereum dapp ecosystem. As well as being the first smart contract blockchain, Ethereum remains the most significant in terms of the number of active dapps deployed, the depth of its development community, and growth in terms of users and value during 2019,” the report states.

Ethereum’s dapp Ecosystem increased by 118% in 2019

While praising the Ethereum in terms of its developer activity, the DappRadar report also mentioned its performance ratio. According to the report, the value of the Ethereum’s dapp ecosystem increased by 118% this year and the daily value rose by 66%.

Apart from this, the report also included that so far Ethereum is the only one blockchain that has developed its dapps in certain areas such as decentralized finance (DeFi), exchanges, games & gambling and high-risk.

EOS and TRON could get less appreciation than ETH

EOS and Tron, which are considered as the competitors of Ethereum, could not secure much appreciation regarding their dapp ecosystem. The report says about them that both of these have tried to develop and nurture their user base.

According to the DappRadar report, Ethereum’s competitors have not run away along with the market in spite of their offering faster speeds.
